The town of Brežice has a long history. It was first mentioned as a settlement in 1241. Whilst little remains of those days today, the town centre is rich in historic monuments and buildings worthy of further investigation. Its most distinguishable building, the delightfully pink water tower, is relatively young. It was built in 1914 and can be seen from miles away.
The Brežice Mini Adventure will take you down the main street, leading to the magnificent Brežice Castle that houses the Posavje Museum. This museum is definitely worth a visit if you have time. Along the way, you will see many sights and solve clues as you go. You'll also get to visit Gasa, which is a street on the old town walls, and witness the magnificent water tower up close.
You'll also be hunting for clues along the back streets where secrets are waiting to be discovered by the best "Seekers" out there. Could that be you or someone you know?
